 Lexmoto_Gladiator_125

Well today I have done another Motorbike review on The Lexmoto Gladiator 125cc is a perfect scooter for the 17+ yr old learner rider with a perfect sounding Air-Cooled 4-stroke engine with a max speed of around 50 MPH prices ranging from £900+ depending on if its pre-built or not as always with Chinese import Scooters.

Although the Lexmoto Gladiator 125 a sleek frame and fairing design and a sports exhaust. Its smooth 125cc 4 stroke engine is more than capable of keeping this sports style scooter a joy to ride where ever you are either in the city or through the country side.

At moment it’s clear that this scooter is only available in Red Or Blue but may be available in other colours after a few months once more imports come over.

Christmas is not long away and this scooter is the PERFECT present for any young person riding on a CBT in/around the united kingdom or elsewhere this scooter gets imported from china from all over the world eBay is the best way to find local suppliers.

Personally I feel it’s quite comfy,  it’s a pleasure to ride and all the electrics seem to be working correctly I made sure I checked everything fully and didn’t find any electrics which looked badly fitted or made so all positive feedback about this scooter from myself and from people who have already bought this scooter and are enjoying it riding it around with a big smile on their face.

Suzuki Swift Automatic – SZ4

Posted in Reviews

SWIFTSZ4

I purchased a Suzuki Swift for a friend of my mothers today who wanted to spend around £14,000 on a nice new car,  As he already owned a Suzuki I thought why not continue with what he already knows so he isn’t out of his comfort zone.

Buying the Swift was straight forward and saved around £2,000 because of end of September offer, After part-ex old car for £5,500 then £7,000 was paid by cheque once cheque cleared.  got car today!!..

First impressions are great it is a 1.5 Automatic which is quite yet not as lacking in power as i thought pretty nippy at times which is great, Although what mainly I thought was stupid is the keyless entry although it has like a key hidden inside the fob which can be taken out and used if battery is dead normally you walk up-to car with fob in your hand and it will detect fob and unlock for you + No key is required to start car only key near car.

So let’s say your inside having a cup of tea and your little brother has a laugh and goes outside presses button on car door handle it opens he starts and parks in middle of road comes in then says Why you park in middle of road..

I was mad but also not bothered as bought car for mother’s friend and i explained the problem to him he is ok with it as distance from his front room to car is more than what fob can reach plus We assume if you drive off totally it will cut out engine once it detects key is no-where near car, However haven’t tested that yet will do tomorrow or day after car is no longer here i drove for few hours it drives like a dream..

On new 60 plate(2010) perfect car plus cheap on insurance so perfect little run about but unlike Normal Suzuki’s it has a-lot of technology built into the car which normally you wouldn’t find in a Suzuki as there mainly cheap cars and not big on optional extras.

If buying a swift do NOT buy any model apart from the  sz4 model  as it’s the most elegant and just all around better interior.

More will be added to review when I had chance to drive it for longer and work out what its like on petrol, Although assuming is should be pretty good anyway.

KwikFit Scam/Scandal Update

Posted in Reviews

Well on 17th(Friday) Kwikfit appeared on Watchdog Two days after a post made by myself about the rip-off repair store, It seems that not only do they over charge but fail to do vital checks when you pay for a service.

Watchdog had 10 vehicle’s booked in for servicing up and down the UK, Not one vehicle booked in for a service had a full service and all checks done and even vital things such as braking and tyres were left unchecked Even though Watchdog Set-up a few of the vehicle’s to make sure they had safety issues.

Kwikfit say they don’t backup the claims that consumers being ripped off however they are going to put 1 Million pounds into re-training most of their staff and upping mystery buyers to do random checks at garages up and down the UK to make sure they are all satisfactory.

However Personally I would not risk going back there if you do make sure you get a second opinion from another garage(NOT KwikFit) to make sure any problems diagnosed actually exist, And to make sure you’re paying the correct price for repairs and make sure the repairs are actually done, As watchdog also proved that most repairs put on invoices was NEVER completed or even looked at.

So any previous customers of KwikFit if you still have your invoice take your car to a local garage and make sure repairs you paid for was in fact done which is easy for any garage to spot such things as new parts supposed to be fitted but old was never removed so no new part fitted which any garage will be able to spot a mile away.

Also make sure any problems you do find you make a complaint to KwikFit explaining the issue in detail plus providing any contact numbers for garages you went to for second opinions that way they cannot dispute your case and in most cases they may give Full/Partial refund Plus offer vouchers or some form of compensation.

I will continue to keep users updated if any new information comes to my attention.

KwikFit Scam/Scandal

Posted in Reviews

Well this is a different type of review, Today I got my brother to take
my car to local KwikFit garage for me as was too busy; He did and ended up within 2 hours I received a phone-call from KwikFit.

Firstly I must state, I Checked car myself and most that needs replacing is the rear Disks + Pads + single right rear caliper, Yet KwikFit seem to think the rear braking system needs replacing possibly front brakes also, as they say it could have leaked and caused fluid to corrode in the lines which is complete bull, As the brake pads worn out over time and drove when worn, Most damage is damage to disks, Has nothing to do with Split brake cables and stuff

In end they wanted around £450+ to repair it not guaranteed that more work maybe required so end price could be a-lot more.

When I know I can get hold of the parts needed brand new for under £100 and takes under 1 hour to fully fit myself which I am going to do but originally thought why not try KwikFit as I have used them in the past till i noticed their total rip of prices and making up problems that don’t exist.

STAY AWAY FROM KwikFit AT ALL COSTS If you are within the UK and need to find a good repair garage use contact page and some places local to yourself will be given, if you give a valid UK Postcode.
