It seem’s that to combat people driving without valid insurance and valid MOT the police have started placing Fixed A.N.P.R camera’s around many city centres.
The project was first started in Hastings by East Sussex Police to catch people driving around without the proper required documents or insurance cover, it seems to have proved it works as soon as a car drives past a fixed camera and triggers it to alert police, Any local police car will be instantly alerted to respond, However its slightly flawed as it only works if the local police car that is nearest their in-car system is working and many police will even say it connects to the network/databases when it feels like it and many times it fails to do so when it’s needed most.
So remember stay insured and make sure your car has m.o.t and tax also make sure it is in a road worthy condition and try avoid loud exhausts they may sound cool but most of times they just attract un-needed attention from the police.
